On-line Demo

Before starting the on-line demonstration of Solowatch's main features, please keep the following in mind:

1. Instructions:

  • The demo may not make sense until you read the Solowatch Brochure. At least the first four pages (Overview through System Flexibility), which give a good general description of the features you'll see.
  • Other than that, just remember to watch what happens when you move the mouse over room icons, and click on them for a detail view. To see the hospital floor in different states of alarm, click on the "Toggle Alarm Status" button.

2. Disclaimers

  • The demo currently works on Java-enabled Web browsers, specifically Netscape Navigator 3.0 or greater, and MS Explorer 3.01 or greater. Earlier versions of these browsers may display the application improperly, or possibly won't run it at all. Other browsers have not been tested, but may work as long as they have reasonably bug-free Java subsystems.
  • This is only a Java-based demo program, meant to give a good impression as to how an installed system will look and feel. It is in no way meant to provide a complete, bug-free feature set.
  • Performance may seem sluggish the first time any given button is pressed. Subsequent execution will be much faster, although the exact gain in speed will depend upon processor, RAM, and browser performance.

All right, enough explanation, let's get started.
